CNC LATHEING
High productivity with clean, accurate work performance is the advantage of the modern CNC turning centers that we use at TIKT to manufacture your orders. In doing so, we rely on equipment from the manufacturer Mazak.
Turning, like milling, is a machining process, but here the workpiece to be machined is not clamped immovably, but performs rapid rotational movements around machining axes in the CNC lathe, while turning tools lift off the chips as they approach.
WHAT IS CNC TURNING?
CNC is the abbreviation for "Computerized Numerical Control". Thanks to CNC technology, we can produce turned parts automatically with great repeatability. Not only is the machining of each individual workpiece by hand a thing of the past, but also the limitation to a single machining axis. Modern CNC machines can boast over six machining axes - this means that even complex shapes can be produced in a CNC-automated manner.
Our turning centers, controlled by special CNC programs, can machine workpieces up to a diameter of 570 mm and a length of 1500 mm. The machining information once read in can be applied again and again exactly to many workpieces in succession, so that the processing of small series is possible even with the highest requirements for accuracy.
WE TURN YOUR PARTS FOR YOU
TIKT works with turning centers that use both driven tools and CNC lathes. Counter spindles, traversing hydraulic steady rests: We are equipped for your individual orders and provide continuous training for our skilled workers to guarantee first-class standards.
