01 / CNC Milling

Precision in 3, 4 and 5 axes

The fact that CNC milling machines are indispensable main components of our manufacturing operations is shown by the investments we have made in this area in recent years: From three machining centers in 2004, our machine park has grown to 15 machining centers today. In shift operation, our customers’ orders are executed on the high-quality CNC milling machines from the manufacturers Deckel, Hermle, Brother and Bridgeport six days a week. Precisely and on schedule.

Whereas milling, i.e. the machining of immovably clamped workpieces, used to depend on the trained eyes and hands of experienced metalworkers, today computer-controlled CNC milling has become absolutely indispensable for performing the highest precision machining operations. Thus, our CNC millers are trained experts who use CAD/CAM systems to perform even the most complex 3D machining operations and keep their knowledge and skills up to date through regular training seminars.

Technical key data

  • The travels of our milling machines are 1000mm (x), 750 mm (y) and 650 mm (z)
  • Machining centers are available in 3-, 4- and 5-axis versions with pallet changer
  • Internal coolant supply up to 40bar
  • Direct displacement measurement system (glass scales)
  • Spindle speeds up to 16000upm

All machines are equipped with a high-speed network connection for monitoring and uploading machining programs. In addition, our specialists program and operate the machines directly on site so that only perfect milling products leave our factory.

Precision turning

Turned parts with high repeatability

High productivity with clean, accurate work performance is the advantage of the modern CNC turning centers that we use at TIKT Performance to manufacture your orders. In doing so, we rely on equipment from the manufacturer Mazak. Turning, like milling, is a machining process, but here the workpiece to be machined is not clamped immovably, but performs rapid rotational movements around machining axes in the CNC lathe, while turning tools lift off the chips as they approach.

What Is Cnc Turning?

CNC is the abbreviation for “Computerized Numerical Control”. Thanks to CNC technology, we can produce turned parts automatically with great repeatability. Not only is the machining of each individual workpiece by hand a thing of the past, but also the limitation to a single machining axis. Modern CNC machines can boast over six machining axes – this means that even complex shapes can be produced in a CNC-automated manner.

Our turning centers, controlled by special CNC programs, can machine workpieces up to a diameter of 570 mm and a length of 1500 mm. The machining information once read in can be applied again and again exactly to many workpieces in succession, so that the processing of small series is possible even with the highest requirements for accuracy.

We Turn Your Parts For You

TIKT Performance works with turning centers that use both driven tools and CNC lathes. Counter spindles, traversing hydraulic steady rests: We are equipped for your individual orders and provide continuous training for our skilled workers to guarantee first-class standards.

Grinding with flying sparks
03 / CNC Grinding

Surfaces and fits right on the mark

CNC grinding has become an indispensable part of machining technology. Conventional grinding technology is no longer sufficient to achieve the precision required for high-quality parts such as engine and transmission components. Both in the production of individual parts and for small series, CNC grinding is standard for every modern machining technology company.

We Work With These Machines

  • External cylindrical grinding machines for machining the outer surfaces of cylindrical parts
  • Internal cylindrical grinding machines to grind bores and surfaces of the inside of workpieces by means of swiveling internal spindles
  • Jig grinding machines for targeted machining of bores, for example
  • Surface grinding machines – machining of surfaces, as the name suggests.
Robotic welding

Joints you can rely on

At TIKT Performance, we not only turn or mill individual workpieces, our range of services also includes the professional joining of entire welding assemblies. Welding is a matter of trust, because after all you must be able to rely on the reliable connection of the materials. Therefore, we pay special attention to the reliable connection of the materials and join components to solid units especially according to customer specifications using state-of-the-art CNC welding equipment.

WIG

MIG/MAG

Metal inert gas welding uses inert, i.e. inert gases that do not react with the material, such as nitrogen, helium or xenon. As metal active gas, active gases are enriched with CO2, oxygen or a mixture of both in order to adjust, among other things, the arc of light, the degree of flow and the penetration behavior.

Electrode welding

The electrode distances influence the arc length. However, the electrodes are not only carriers of the arc, but also additional material at the same time. This process allows welding of almost all metals and alloys.

Brazing

Brazed joints are created at temperatures between 450°C and 900°C and have very good strengthening properties. In contrast to welding, the metals to be joined are not melted with but joined by the solder brought to melting.

Assembly of components
05 / Assembly

Plug & play instead of single parts

TIKT Performance supplies not only workpieces and parts manufactured according to customer requirements. Our offer goes far beyond pure milling, turning, welding, etc.. Thus, we are also a competent partner for the assembly and installation of complete assemblies.

Based on customer drawings, parts lists, calculations and plans, we offer specification-compliant assembly, professional installation and on-time delivery of assembly modules. The great advantage here lies in the perfect matching of the components to each other to form a finished product that can be used “plug & play”.

We draw on a wealth of experience gained in the automotive industry as well as in special machine construction, which allows us to supply even complex assemblies of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or any combination of these. On request, we can even take care of the electrical integration and wiring. Complete documentation and quality assurance according to the latest standards and customer requirements is a matter of course.

Customer Advantages In The Use Of Subassembly

  • Customer-side single ordering process enables easy scheduling and monitoring
  • Posting of a single goods receipt instead of time-consuming individual picking and logistics
  • Direct component procurement through TIKT Performance
  • Short and manageable assembly times on site
  • Calculable and reduced total costs for increased budget security
  • Reduction of personnel expenses and costs
  • Quality assurance of the complete assembly is ensured by TIKT Performance
  • Everything from a single source with optimal support
Quality assurance and metrology
06 / Quality

Tested accuracy in every component

From the very beginning, the highest quality has been our maxim. We believe that when it comes to quality, no compromise is times the key to success. For our efforts, we were recently awarded the VDAT quality mark for professional automotive tuning by Association of Automotive Tuners. We are very proud of this and will continue to strive for the best, fastest and most accurate.

In order to reliably deliver quality, solid quality assurance is indispensable. For us, this begins with the selection of high-quality blanks and starting products, which are processed in our plant using state-of-the-art technology. We attach great importance to the maintenance of the machines and, last but not least, to the continuous education and training of our qualified employees.

Our production processes are subject to constant monitoring as part of quality assurance and each of our work steps is precisely documented.
