FLOOR FENCES & UNDERBODY EDGE

Description

Exposed instead of obstructed. The edge that determines the suction beneath the underbody.

The floor fences of the 992 GT3 RS are a serious aerodynamic component from the factory: they separate the airflow beneath the vehicle from the turbulence along the sides of the car. If this edge is obstructed by a side skirt extending too far downward, the underbody loses precisely the pressure differential that feeds the diffuser.

That is why our side skirt is deliberately raised, while the underbody edge is continuously reproduced in carbon. The fences remain exposed, airflow separation stays at the sides, and suction remains centralized.

A decision against the visually simpler solution — and in favor of the aerodynamically correct one.
